Pony Riding Lessons

Little Einsteins offers pony riding lessons for children aged 3 plus. Jill, our multi-talented riding instructor, with many years of Pony Club instructing experience will be teaching the art of pony care. The classes will involve grooming, leading the pony, learning the parts of a pony and it's gear, saddling a pony up ready to ride, and riding. These classes will be for a half hour-45 minute duration, and bookings are essential. They will be run from April and will cost $15 per lesson. Bookings will be taken at the office or via email. From June, we anticipate offering three days, a Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Jill, together with Biscuit, Chocolate, Toffee and Spice look forward to teaching your children the joy of horses!

Dancing Lessons

Introducing our own fabulous new dance teacher, Chantelle Crafts. Chantelle will be holding classes in the gym for our littlies (aged from 2 plus) in five week blocks. The classes will be on a Friday, and if your child does not attend on a Friday, you are still welcome to book them in and bring them along.

Chantelle has 10 years dance teaching experience, and has recently moved from Tauranga where she ran her own school, the Roxy Dance Troupe. She catered for over 150 clients, aged three years to adult. Chantelle has had 15 years dance training with Royal Academy of Dance syllabus in New Zealand and Australia, and her focused styles are Modern Hip Hop/Funk. She uses the latest music to get our wee ones grooving, and says that her classes are wonderful for both boys and girls, excellent for exercise and co-ordination, and great to build children's confidence.

Her classes will be running from mid-April, and will be $25 for the five classes. See the office for your bookings, spaces filling fast!

Jumping Beans Classes

During school holidays, Jumping Beans co-ordinator Paula Pohipi and her co-teacher Peter will be offering classes for all our Little Einsteins. This is an exercise and movement programme aimed at assisting healthy brain development. Full details can be obtained from their informative website, www.jumpingbeans.net.

They have offered our families classes at a discounted rate, and these will be $9 for a 45-60 minute session. Bookings through the office please, or via email. Jumping Beans can only be with us during the school holidays due to prior committments throughout the school term, so most blocks will be of a two week duration.
