Our Manager -Jayne
Jayne
is a self-proclaimed coffee enthusiast and is married
to Jay (a builder in Cambridge). Together they have
two spoilt cats and are about to begin the process of
building a new home in rural Cambridge. In her spare
time, Jayne enjoys being at the beach, spending quality
time with family and friends and can often be found
hanging out with her adorable niece.
Jayne has a management and primary teaching background
and considers working with children a true honour. She
is motivated by forming and maintaining quality relationships
with children and their families, creating valuable
learning experiences based around individual needs and
having lots of fun!
Jayne has made the transition to Little Einsteins Educare
to further explore her passion for the education and
care of children and to continue to develop her own
leadership skills in education. She is really looking
forward to being able to guide and extend a dynamic
and competent team of dedicated teaching professionals
to best meet the needs of our children.

Melanie
- Supervisor
Melanie is a creative teacher who enjoys storytelling
and using arts and crafts. A mother to an 11 year old,
Melanie has a long affinity with children and finishing
her training in 2007 has formally reflected this. She
enjoys reading, music and outdoors activities such as
walking and picnicking. Melanie likes to maintain her
involvement in the community with a background in gymnastics
teaching and community youth work.

Laura
- Assistant Supervisor
Laura's desire has always been to work with children,
and she graduated from the University of Waikato with
a Bachelor of teaching in ECE. She has had experience
across all age groups but since given the opportunity
to work with infants, Laura has developed a true passion
to watch infants grow and progress, reaching their new
and exciting milestones. She feels really privileged to
be a part of this stage of their development. Laura is
married to David (a share milker) and in her spare time
she can be found in the cow shed or enjoying the sunshine
at the beach. |

Jen
Jen is passionate about providing quality education
and care for you wee one! She comes from Matamata everyday
where she lives with her partner Daniel, Friend Becky
and Nephew Charlie. She has a heart for creating strong
links between families/whanau and develops these relationships
with her friendly interactive approach. Jen loves to
catch up with friends in her spare time when she is
not indulging in painting, poetry and photography.

Melinda
Melinda appreciates the magnitude of the first five
years of a child's life, having had her own children and
experience being an in-home-carer for two other children.
She believes fostering great relationships with families,
and treating each child with respect for their individuality.
Mel is a real 'arts and crafts' girl, and enjoys baking,
gardening and cake decorating. She currently enrolled
at Wintec to complete her BTchg (ECE). |

Sheryl
Sheryl has a great attitude and thrilled to
have started her teaching career with us here at Little
Einsteins. She has long had a great love for children
and her eagerness to embrace new learning is an asset.
Sheryl is a very proud mum to her daughter, Lily, who
attends preschool at Little Einsteins Educare. In her
spare time she enjoys gardening, needlework, walks and
trying out her wonderful sense of humour on others. |

Pauline
Pauline is privileged to be involved in the learning journeys
of the infants and toddlers in the Kiwi Room. Pauline
finds the awesome individual little people the Kiwi room
has an inspiration to her teaching. Pauline is currently
studying towards her Diploma in ECE. Pauline is a busy
mum of four children a cat, turtles and dogs. Pauline's
family loves the beach and the great outdoors. |

Melissa
Melissa loves working with our little Kiwis.. She has
a great history of working with children, after spending
9 weeks at Camp America where she worked with preschoolers
and then subsequently did some traveling, Melissa completed
a Nannying course here in New Zealand. She looks forward
to learning more about infant development during her three
year Bachelor of Teaching. |

Alaina
- Head Teacher
Alaina has a warm personality and enjoys relating
and responding to the individual needs of each child in
her care. She has a long history of working with children
(aged between four weeks to 13 years) from living and
working overseas as a nanny to working here in Cambridge.
She has strengths in planning and implementing new programmes,
supporting children to
reach their potential and providing a positive and interactive
learning environment for all to be comfortable in. Alaina
has relished the opportunity to travel and explore different
cultures across the UK and Europe. In her spare time she
likes to spend time with her family, friends, playing
sport and travelling. |

Michelle
Michelle is friendly, dedicated, and particularly
enjoys working with children in the toddler age group.
She has 10 years experience in the early childhood setting
and enjoys building relationships with children and their
families. She is responsible for creating and facilitating
our transition programmes (between rooms). Michelle has
also completed her certificate in adult teaching which
she hopes to put to good use when working to support and
guide students through their studies. Michelle grew up
in the small country town of Eketahuna and now lives on
a lifestyle block in Cambridge with her partner and their
combined 3 school-aged children. |

Sarah
Sarah brings a fantastic and varied background of
working with children, from her voluntary Sunday School
Teaching role (that she has been committed to since 2001)
to working in Vanuatu with underprivileged children for
a year in 2003. Sarah is motivated and enjoys working
as part of a team. Her willingness to give anything a
go means lots of fun for our children. She particulary
enjoys utilising space and 'messy play'. |

Kim
Kim is an experienced Early Childhood teacher working
with our little Tuis. Her passions lie in building and
maintaining relationships with the children and their
whanau, and she is loving working with you and your children.
Kim travels each day from Te Awamutu where she lives with
her partner, and is an ourdoorsy girl, enjoying watersports,
particularly wakeboarding! |

Corryn
Corryn is in her final year at Waikato University
completing her BTchg ECE. She has three years teaching
experience in Early Childhood Centres.
Ruma Tui is currently benefiting from Corryn's bubbly
personality and huge sense of fun, and we hope to have
Corryn's smiling face around in Tui for a long time to
come! |

Julia
Julia is most passionate about enabling children's
opportunities for learning through play and a variety
of different experiences. She enjoys learning from her
Little Einsteins' colleagues, and integrating her own
ideas with those of her colleagues in our Pukeko room.
Raised in the sunny BOP, Julia moved to Hamilton to earn
her BTchg (ECE). She loves to spend time with her family,
friends and pets on the farm, her true passion is working
with young children. |

Trudy
Trudy is passionate about ensuring quality learning
experiences for our children by encouraging and supporting
a positive child initiated environment. With over ten
years of teaching experience, Trudy uses a variety of
resource based ideas to enhance and challenge children's
learning. Trudy also enjoys opportunities to incorporate
animals and the natural environment into the programme.
Trudy comes from a farming background and has also worked
as a vet nurse. In her spare time Trudy likes to catch
up with friends, going to the beach, exercise and getting
outdoors. Trudy looks forward to getting to know each
child and their family, as Little Einsteins becomes part
of their journey. |

Charlotte
Charlotte is a fun, creative, arty, active person
who loves playing plocrosse and any other sport. Charlotte
loves getting down and dirty with the children, she is
a child at heart. Charlotte holds a Diploma of early childhood
education which she had been using in England as well
as traveling. Charlotte enjoys the fantastic environment
here at Little Einsteins and loves meeting new families.

Danielle
Danielle has a bubbly personality, bringing to Little
Einsteins tons of enthusiasm and passion for what she
describes as her 'ultimate' career. She has her own gorgeous
daughter, Ella, who is a year old and attends Little Einsteins
in our Kiwi room. Danielle is hugely excited to be enrolled
at Wintec this year, working towards gaining a BTchg (ECE).
The youngest of four children, Danielle grew up on a farm
in Raglan. She is an out-doorsy person who loves being
with friends and family, and is into water sports, soccer,
rugby and hockey. |

Tracey
Tracey completed her Diploma in Teaching at Wintec in
2007. Tracey has a passion for working with preschoolers
and believes that children learn through play. Tracey
really enjoys the conversations and questioning from the
preschool children. Tracey is originally from Tauranga
and moved to Hamilton 6 years ago. Tracey enjoys yoga,
reading, going to the gym and spending time with her partner
family and friends. |

Catherine
Catherine comes to Little Einsteins with a passion for
Children, Animals and a Bachelor of Education (Early
Years). She is a great fit in our preschool room, and
enjoys building relationships with children and their
Whanau. Catherine intends to further her study in Special
Education in the future, and is currently getting to
know the Cambridge Community after a move from Palmerston
North to be with us! As the youngest of four children,
Catherine has family scattered all over NZ. She has
an unused Yoga kit that she might bust out and open
at any moment!

Janet
Janet is one of our wonderful relieving teachers.
She is with us usually two days a week in the Kiwi room,
and comes from a background of Primary School Teaching.
Janet is loving working with the preschool aged children,
and says it really brings her back to reality! Janet farms
in Te Miro with her husband Richard, and has three grown
up children of her own. She enjoys tennis, baking, gardening
and scrapbooking in her spare time. |

Karin
Karin is a reliever teacher who is happy working with
all age groups. Karin recently relocated from South Africa
where she worked in ECE. She has a year 1-3 primary school
qualification but all her many years of work experience
have been in ECE, mainly training preschool teachers from
disadvantaged backgrounds. Karin is passionate about working
with our little people and enjoys seeing each one of them
reaching their full potential and having a happy day at
school. She lives in Cambridge with her husband Rodney,
and hey have three grown daughters living in Auckland.
In her spare time she enjoys crafts such as beading, card
making, sewing and knitting and loves to bake. |

Nadene
Nadene enjoys connecting with children, supporting
them in what they are doing while recognising the need
to not do it for them. She is positive in her interactions
with children and has been working in childcare settings
for the past 10+ years. Nadene has four wonderful children
who currently attend various Cambridge schools. She enjoys
animals, reading, getting out and walking the dog, playing
squash and biking. |

Nicki
- Relieving Teacher
Nicki is the proud Mum of one our resident Tui's and is
with us in a relieving capacity while she studies for
her Btchg ECE. She is great fun, warm and approachable,
and her friendly smile could turn up in any one of our
three areas!

Vikki
Vikki brings a wealth of experience and passion to
our whole Little Einstein's teaching team. Working with
young children and preparing them for lifelong learning
is a passion of hers. Her work history involves head teaching
and roles mentoring staff and supervisors in Centres around
the Central North Island region. Vikki and her husband
Gary have a small daughter, (Charlie) who is loved to
bits and who keeps them on their toes. Family, friends
and faith are of great importance in Vikki's life, along
with time spent relaxing at the beach or anywhere for
that matter. |

Jill
Those of you who have visited will most likely already
have encountered the thousand-watt smile of Jill, our
wonderful Office Manager. She is responsible for all the
day-to-day calamities that are related to the miles of
paperwork that our children generate! She can answer your
questions, and assist you with your child care subsidies.
Jill comes to us with a background in Primary School teaching,
and more recently, transition to schools class in Early
Childhood. |

Rebecca
Bec is a mother of two boys aged 2 years and 6 months,
they both keep her very busy. Bec has a Finance background
of 11 years where 6 of these were spent working in the
UK as well as traveling and seeing the world. Bec was
brought up on a farm which has given her the love she
has for animals. Bec enjoys the outdoors and shares this
with her boys by taking them for lots of walks. In the
spare time that Bec has she loves catching up with friends
going to the beach and like most females, shopping. |

Dan
Daniel is a year 12 Cambridge High School student
who is keen to earn some extra money to run his car! He
combines his talents and affinity with preschool children
with the upkeep of the lawns and gardens around Little
Einsteins.
He has spent time with your children teaching them the
finer points of football, as is his main passion outside
of school and work.

Ash
Ashleigh is a year 11 Cambridge High School Student
looking at a career in Early Childhood Education.
Ashleigh has been babysitting her four younger siblings
for many years, and enjoys interacting with preschool
age children.
Ashleigh's outside interests are sports and spending time
with her friends and family. She is a keen beach girl
and enjoys her summers at Whangamata.

Caroline
Caroline is the proud mother of two girls aged 15
and 3, and has worked in the hospitality industry for
19 years, with a wide background in food preparation and
cooking for varied customers. Caroline loves to eat healthily
and maintain a healthy lifestyle and takes great joy in
feeding others and surprising them with how fabulous healthy
fare can be. Sharing recipes and ideas gives her great
pleasure and she looks forward to introducing your children
to a great variety of fruit and vegetables in many forms,
and sharing her tips and recipes with you. |
