Our Director - Jo
Jo is a mum of seven gorgeous kids, three of whom were
the first students at Little Einsteins when we opened!
She has a Bachelor of Midwifery, and recently completed
her Postgraduate Diploma of Teaching at Waikato University.
Jo has a passion for travel and sunshine, and loves animals.
She is a keen hobby photographer and in her own mind,
a 'Master Chef', in serious competition with her husband.
Jo is happiest at Whangamata beach, relaxing and spending
time with her family and friends. |

Our Manager - Jayne
Jayne is a self-proclaimed coffee enthusiast and is
married to Jay (a builder in Cambridge). Jayne has a management
and primary teaching background and considers working
with children a true honour. She is motivated by forming
and maintaining quality relationships with children and
their families, creating valuable learning experiences
based around individual needs and having lots of fun!
Jayne enjoys being able to guide and extend a dynamic
and competent team of dedicated teaching professionals
to best meet the needs of our children. |

|
Alaina - Supervisor
Alaina has a warm personality and enjoys relating
and responding to the individual needs of each child in
her care. She is Mum to her darling wee boy, Rylee, and
has a long history of working with children (aged between
four weeks to 13 years) from living and working overseas
as a nanny to working here in Cambridge. Alaina holds
a Bachelor of Teaching ECE, and has strengths in planning
and implementing new programmes, supporting children to
reach their potential and providing a positive and interactive
learning environment for all to be comfortable in. Alaina
has relished the opportunity to travel and explore different
cultures across the UK and Europe. She likes to spend
her free time with her family and friends, playing sport
and traveling. |

Laura - Assistant Supervisor
Laura's desire has always been to work with children,
and she graduated from the University of Waikato with
a Bachelor of Teaching ECE. She has had experience across
all age groups but since given the opportunity to work
with infants, Laura has developed a true passion to watch
infants grow and progress, reaching their new and exciting
milestones. She feels really privileged to be a part of
this stage of their development. In her spare time she
can be found enjoying the sunshine at the beach. |

Sheryl
Sheryl has a great attitude and is thrilled to have
started her teaching career with us here at Little Einsteins.
She has long had a great love for children and her eagerness
to embrace new learning is an asset. Sheryl is a very
proud mum to her daughter, Lily, who attended preschool
at Little Einsteins. In her spare time she enjoys gardening,
needlework, walks and trying out her wonderful sense of
humour on others. |

Alex
Our Kiwi room is pleased to have Alex on board, who is
in her 3rd year of teaching, and is looking forward to
many more! She is a Hamilton local, and studied at Waikato
University to gain her BTchg ECE. Alex enjoys spending
her spare time with her partner Chris and their pet rabbits
and cat. She is a real girly-girl, and loves to shop!

Lisa
Lisa has a passion for working with infants and toddlers
and feels it is important to build and nurture positive,
strong relationships with children, ensuring they feel
safe and secure. Lisa holds her her Diploma in Teaching
ECE with Te Tari Puna Ora o Aotearoa and has three years
of teaching experience in Putaruru. She is a proud Aunty
of two nephews who live in Te Kuiti, and on the weekends
she enjoys
anything to do with motor sport! |

Emily
Emily is a Cambridge girl who enjoys the farm life with
her husband and preschool aged daughter. She is a trained
primary school teacher, but realised her true passion
was for ECE after having her daughter. She recently completed
her Post Grad Diploma of Teaching ECE, and really enjoys
teaching with art and messy play-fun! During her down
time Emily enjoys spending quality time with her family,
both here in the Waikato and in Taranaki. |

Janelle - Supervisor
Janelle has been teaching for 6 years now, and comes
to us with experience in the supervisor's role at previous
centre's she has taught at. Janelle is a big fan of music
& drama, and is a talented saxophone player!
She describes one of her favourite parts of teaching pre-schoolers
as the 'light-bulb moment'. Janelle lives with her spoilt
beagle, Harry, and loves to listen to a wide range of
music in her down time.

Melanie
Melanie is a creative and qualified teacher. She enjoys
storytelling and creating resources using arts and crafts
to use with our children. A mother to an active teenager
and proud Aunty to a niece & nephews, Melanie has
a long affinity with children. She likes to maintain her
involvement in the community with a background in gymnastics
teaching and youth work. When she finds spare time, Melanie
can be found reading or making the most of the outdoors. |

Sarah
Sarah's passion in life is children! She loves being
a part oft their lives and watching them grow & develop.
She has a varied background with children, from teaching
at Sunday School for the past 9 years, to working with
underprivileged in Vanuatu and Thailand. Sarah enjoys
building relationships between the children, their families
and her team. She loves messy play, which means lots of
fun for our littlies! |

Caroline
After spending a number of years pursuing a passion for
food, Caroline is now benefiting our Little Einsteins
learners by pursuing another passion: children's learning!
Currently studying towards her Bachelor of Teaching ECE,
Caroline enjoys working alongside children, making new
discoveries and exploring the world they live in. She
is the proud mother of two girls and in her spare time
likes running and pursuing a healthy lifestyle. |

Shelly
Shelly comes from a family of seven children, so not
surprisingly is very much a family orientated girl! She
is studying her Bachelor of Teaching ECE at WINTEC. Shelly
is a music lover who plays guitar for our children, and
a very arty and creative teacher. One of her passions
is Drama, so expect to see her expertise coming through
in the teams in which she teaches! |

Rebecca
joins our Tui room after completing her Post Grad Diploma
in Teaching ECE. She was born & bred here in Cambridge,
and is the youngest of 4 girls. Rebecca is proud to be
a hands-on Aunty and has always been passionate about
young children, with a strong belief in exploration and
play-the messier the better! Rebecca enjoys jazz ballet
and in her down-time she can be found spending time with
her partner and friends at the beach. |

|
Vikki - currently on Maternity Leave
Vikki brings a wealth of experience and passion to
our whole Little Einstein's teaching team. Working with
young children and preparing them for lifelong learning
is a passion of hers. Her work history involves head teaching
and roles mentoring staff and supervisors in centres around
the Central North Island region. Vikki and her husband
Gary have two young children who are loved to bits and
who keep them on their toes! Family, friends and faith
are of great importance in Vikki's life, along with time
spent relaxing at the beach or anywhere for that matter.

Charlotte - Supervisor
Charlotte is a fun, creative, arty, active person
who loves playing polocrosse other sports like rodeo.
Charlotte loves getting down and dirty with the children,
which makes her very much a child at heart. Charlotte
holds a Diploma of ECE and is excited to see Little Einsteins
learners develop and grow and also meeting and getting
to know all of our families. |

Sarah
Has recently completed her BTchg ECE at Waikato University
and travels to us from Morrinsville each day. She is passionate
about working with young children and enjoys learning
alongside them. She is thrilled to begin her teaching
adventure with our pre-school children, and is keen to
put her learning into practice! Sarah enjoys traveling,
and has been on adventures through Europe and the UK,
working in London along the way. She likes to spend her
spare time with her family & friends and relaxing
at the beach.

Anita
has joined our Pukeko teaching team after recently completing
her Post Grad Diploma in Teaching ECE. She previously
studied to gain a degree in Science from Waikato University,
but teaching is her true passion! Anita is a keen open-water
diver, something she tries to do as much as possible in
her spare time when she's not busy playing squash or hanging
out with friends and family at the beach. |

Tracey
completed her Diploma in Teaching at
WINTEC in 2007. Tracey has a passion for working with
preschoolers and believes that children learn through
play. Tracey really enjoys the conversations and questioning
from the preschool children. She is originally from Tauranga
and moved to Hamilton 7 years ago, where she lives with
her husband and their young daughter. Tracey enjoys yoga,
reading, going to the gym and spending time with her family
and friends.

Kim
Kim is an experienced Early Childhood teacher working
with our preschoolers. Her passions lie in building and
maintaining relationships with the children and their
whanau, and Kim is loving working with you and your children.
Kim travels each day from Te Awamutu where she lives with
her partner and their young son, and is an outdoorsy girl,
enjoying watersports, particularly wakeboarding! |

Jo
Our fabulous Pukeko teacher, Jo, is originally from Waihi,
but has recently settled here in Cambridge with her partner,
Gareth. Jo has been teaching for 5 years now, and has
recently graduated with her Diploma in Teaching ECE in
2011. Jo enjoys helping children to become 'explorers'
- competent and confident learners who ask lots of questions
and make discoveries! Jo is very sporty, and enjoys cycling
and running marathons. |

Danielle
Danielle has a bubbly personality, bringing to Little
Einsteins tons of enthusiasm and passion for what she
describes as her 'ultimate' career. She has her own gorgeous
daughter, Ella, who attends Little Einsteins while Danielle
works with the Tamariki. Danielle is hugely excited to
be facilitating our latest initiative, The Splash Club
- preschool swimming and water confidence. She is working
toward becoming a qualified swimming instructor with Swim
New Zealand, and her long term goal is to become a fully
qualified ECE teacher. The youngest of four children,
Danielle grew up on a farm in Raglan. She is an out-doorsy
person who loves being with friends and family, and is
into water sports, soccer, rugby and hockey.

Karin
Karin is a reliever teacher who is happy working with
all age groups. Karin recently relocated from South Africa
where she worked in ECE. She has a year 1-3 primary school
qualification but all her many years of work experience
have been in ECE, mainly training preschool teachers from
disadvantaged backgrounds. Karin is passionate about working
with our little people and enjoys seeing each one of them
reaching their full potential and having a happy day at
school. She lives in Cambridge with her husband Rodney,
and hey have three grown daughters living in Auckland.
In her spare time she enjoys crafts such as beading, card
making, sewing and knitting and loves to bake. |

Gareth
Gareth is a local man, and is a huge fan of the outdoors,
he comes to us with work experience in outdoor education
at Totara Springs and Waimarino, where he has spent his
time kayaking, tramping and rockclimbing! Gareth is excited
to begin his BTchg ECE in 2011 at Waikato University.

Dan
is training for his Bachelor of Teaching ECE at WINTEC,
and could be found in any of our three areas sharing his
passion for sport with our Tamariki. Dan is a keen and
talented footballer, and he plays for Cambridge Mens First
11.
When not teaching at Little Einsteins or with his head
in the books, Dan likes to spend time at the beach with
his friends.

Jill
Those of you who have visited will most likely already
have encountered the thousand-watt smile of Jill, our
wonderful Office Manager. She is responsible for all the
day-to-day calamities that are related to the miles of
paperwork that our children generate! She can answer your
questions, and assist you with your child care subsidies.
Jill comes to us with a background in Primary School teaching,
and more recently, transition to schools class in Early
Childhood. |

Nicki
Nicki is one of our friendly faces that will greet you
in our Little Einsteins office and over the phone. She
has proven herself very versatile, not only demonstrating
competence in office related duties but also assisting
when required in both teaching and kitchen roles - our
kind of lady! Nicki is great fun, and very approachable.
She enjoys being "Mum" to her preschool aged
daughter and (when she can find some spare time) enjoys
socialising with friends. |

Rachel
Has been around horses since she was a pre-schooler herself!
We are really lucky to have her on board as she has had
a huge amount of experience working with horses, including
breaking them in, track work, eventing and working at
horse-studs. Rachel has developed some fantastic relationships
with the children and their whanau, she is a real asset
to Little Einsteins!

Jenna
Our kitchen wizz, Jenna, originally comes from Te Awamutu,
but now resides in Cambridge with her partner and their
2 year old daughter. Over the past 8 years Jenna has been
working with horses as well as working in the kitchens
of some restaurants in Hamilton. When Jenna and her family
have some down time, they love to spend it relaxing at
their favourite holiday spot - Waiheke Island!
